The VMuse app
No account. No app analytics. No app-owned network path.
VMuse does not provide registration, sign-in, profiles, analytics, cloud sync, collaboration, public sharing, AI generation, or remote catalog delivery. Its core create, edit, save, reopen, publish, and built-in Performance workflow works without a network connection.
The current app privacy manifest declares tracking as false, no tracking domains, and no collected data types. It reports Apple's required-reason API categories for local app preferences, latency timing, import-capacity checks, and staging-file cleanup. VMuse does not collect or transmit those accessed values.
Local data ownership
Projects belong to the device, not an online identity.
Drafts, immutable publications, last-known-good state, project images, imported material, and project-scoped Performance recordings live in local app storage. VMuse does not upload, synchronize, remotely index, or associate them with an account.
People sharing the same iPad share access to its local VMuse project library unless access is restricted with iPadOS controls. Deleting a project follows the app’s local repository boundary and includes its local Performance recordings.
Recording and MIDI
App audio stays distinct from room audio and local MIDI.
Performance recording captures only VMuse’s downstream app-audio mix. It does not open the microphone, capture room voices, or request microphone permission.
Optional Core MIDI sends only creator-authored MIDI instructions to a resolved connected local destination. It does not send project files, imported asset bytes, identity, or analytics.
This website
An informational site, with no information-submission forms or custom tracking.
This website’s source does not add advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, user accounts, contact forms, or marketing cookies. It does not ask visitors to submit personal information.
Documentation search runs locally in the browser and is not submitted to VMuse.
Website hosting is a separate technical system from the VMuse app. Like other hosted sites, infrastructure providers may process standard request information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the site. The statements about zero collected data in the app privacy manifest apply to the VMuse iPad app, not automatically to hosting infrastructure.
Future changes
A new data flow would require a new privacy review.
Any future account, analytics SDK, backend, cloud sync, sharing, remote asset delivery, website form, or other online data flow would require an explicit product decision and updated privacy information before release.
