Create an instrument with AI

Describe a design, review what will be shared, then play and inspect the result before saving it.

Describe what you want to play

  1. Sign in to a managed account, verify its email, and open a project. Choose AI Create in the Editor’s top toolbar. A child may type the description and choose Generate while the responsible adult supervises use of the account.
  2. Describe the instrument, layout, and sounds you want. For example: “A large piano keyboard with three drum pads below it and clear labels.”
  3. Choose Simple, Medium, or Complex. Every composition size uses one generation from the same monthly allowance.
  4. Optionally select local images or imported sound libraries. Up to 24 materials can be selected; built-in Sounds and Elements are already available. Only their names, dimensions, sound ranges, and other text descriptions can be sent.

Review the information you send

Your description, the built-in catalog, and selected material names, dimensions, sound ranges, and other descriptions are sent by VMuse Global through OpenRouter to DeepInfra, which serves the pinned DeepSeek V4 Pro model. No alternate model or provider route is enabled.

Image pixels, sound recordings, and original files stay on this iPad and are not sent to the AI services. DeepSeek V4 Pro is used as a text-only model for this feature.

Read AI data use, retention and deletion and the named processor’s privacy policy. Choose Review request, check the preview choices and description, and explicitly agree to that request’s AI data sharing before choosing Create instrument.

Do not include names, contact details, photos, recordings, school information, or other personal information about children or other people. Only select material you have permission to use. A generated design does not establish ownership or grant new rights to imported material.

Play and review the design

  1. Wait for the design to be checked and prepared on this iPad. An incomplete or unplayable result does not become a usable preview.
  2. Touch the instrument to try its sounds. Use Mute All when needed.
  3. Read the materials, licenses, storage information, and review notes. Give the new instrument a name and confirm material rights when asked.
  4. Choose Use instrument to save a separate local project. Choose Open saved instrument to continue editing it. Publish remains a separate step.

AI output can miss your intent even when it passes technical checks. Review the layout, labels, and sounds before saving. Your original project is not replaced by the generated design.

Revise, discard, or cancel

Revise request returns to the description so you can change it. Sending the revised request starts a new generation. Discard design removes the candidate without saving a project.

Cancel generation requests cancellation. If model work has already started, the generation counts toward your allowance. Discarding a completed result also counts. A confirmed service failure that cannot produce a reviewable candidate restores its reservation.

If the connection drops or cancellation is still being checked, wait for the outcome and refresh the allowance. Closing a screen is not proof that a request was canceled or a slot restored.

Keep the result offline

After Use instrument completes, the saved project is an ordinary local instrument. It can be reopened, edited, published, and performed without an account or network connection.

An unsaved candidate is temporary. Save a design you want to keep; do not rely on being able to retrieve it later from Account.
