Available language choices
The app starts in English. The Global edition supports optional downloads for Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Arabic.
All ten signed text-only language packs are available from the production download endpoint. New managed-account wording may temporarily fall back to English until its translated revision completes linguistic and legal review.
Download and switch
- Open Language from the gallery. An internet connection is needed to check available downloads; no account is required.
- Choose Download beside a language. Review the download size, then confirm Download and Use.
- Wait while the app downloads and verifies the pack. Once it is installed, the app switches to that language.
- To switch later, choose Use beside English or an installed language. Downloaded languages continue to work offline.
What changes with the language
App controls, bundled catalog labels, tutorials, Account, AI Create, errors, and accessibility text use the selected language. Arabic changes the app’s writing direction.
Instrument names, text you wrote on the Canvas, and imported material names remain as you entered them. The selected language does not change saved project content or musical behavior. System file and photo pickers follow iPadOS language settings.
Language downloads contain translated text and plural forms only. They do not add sounds, pictures, fonts, or new app features.
Update, cancel, or remove a download
Use Check for language updates to look for a newer pack. If Update appears beside an installed language, choose it and confirm the download.
Cancel stops an ongoing download. An interrupted or invalid download leaves the previous verified language available.
Delete Download removes a downloaded language from this iPad. If it was selected, the app returns to English. You can download it again later. English cannot be deleted.
